We offer a unique setting of woodland streams, country lane walks and inner peace.
Our retreats are for those who are recovering physically, mentally and of course spiritually.
We have a separate Healing Centre that can be hired for meditations, healings or other holistic pursuits.
We also offer a B&B service for those who are just looking for a short break.
We offer tours of the sacred sights, or just directions if you like to explore on your own.
Going quiet is said to soothe frazzled nerves and lower blood pressure, not to mention give you some time for reflection in a very noisy world. All of our meals will be eaten in silence so that we can really taste the food and look closely at the friends sitting near us.
Although we don’t speak, we can look at each other with the eyes of understanding and the smile of loving-kindness and compassion.
Bell of Mindfulness
Throughout each day of the retreat – if your walking, during meals and so on – a Bell Keeper will ring the bell three times. Upon hearing the bell, please stop, moving and thinking. Then breathe in and out consciously three times. This will help to bring you back to the present moment and to the inner you.
This is the time to reflect, you may read or go for a walk, meditate, or just sit. We suggest writing down your thoughts and then reading them back at the end of the retreat. We will then hold a burning ceremony to release these thoughts in to the universe, thus cleansing.
